DK012 2673 - In dreams SOLD OUT
3"CDr
"In dreams" is a new great "alpha-wave stimulating" drone piece on Dokuro, released by the hermetic monicker 2673.
The track evolve from a pileup of deep bass overtones to a rebounding aphex of noisy waves via calibrated permutations of sound colours. In dreams is a truly deep listening experience that will leave you disconnected from reality.
A fascinating masterpiece of this New Jersey sound artist who mix perfectly opposite aspects of sound like pure tones and noise textures.
2673 aka Kevin Winter have on his shoulder an impressive discography and many collaborations with other key figures of the american undergroud scene. DK012 is released as a ltd. 70 copies. Artwork by Merlo.

DK011 Kam Hassah - This Forest FEW COPIES
12" Single Side
"This Forest" is the single side vinyl that italian noise honcho Kam Hassah (also headchief of the secondsleep records) done to the dokuro's catalogue.
What Kam Hassah do with "this forest" is to move perfectly a dense stratas of sounds in a hypnagocic way, the rotary slow motion of drones, the layers of reverbarted voices, will bring you down under the moaning branches of this gloomy forest of sounds. A spiral implosion will show you the dark side of your soul where no light can shine and then... under again, in the viscous undergrowth where the beasts crawl. One track of pure bleak catharsis.
DK011 will be release in hand-numbered edition of 100 copies with silkscreen sleeves printed by Canedicoda.
Artwork done by Kam Hassah himself.

DK010 To Live and Shave in L.A. / Harshcore SOLD OUT
3"CDr split
Dokuro is very proud to present a split 3" between To Live and shave in L.A. and Harshcore.
To Live and shave in L.A. need no presentation: their records combine elements of musique concrete, noise, heavy dub, and pervasive electronics. They are perhaps the fathers of the american noise scene, truly underground since the '90s! "Le Ceneri di ..." (TLASILA's track) is an ironic attack to the self-congratulatory predilections of bloated star bands... a great piece of plunderphonic music that has its force in the measured noisy counterpoint to the mainstream's silliness. Harshcore's sound is based on analogic and poor electronics, bass, tape loops and other junks. They play live wearing animal masks and making a weird mix of depitched tapes, geek rhythms and distort bass guitar. "Sun Hidden There" (Harshcore's song) is permeated with the reading of "Dinosauria, We" by writer and poet Charles Buckowski... musically it's a countdown pulse decostruction that flows exactly with the pace and meaning of the poem.
Lymphous indagative (and double-A-side) artwork by Merlo, DK010 will be release in a ltd. edition of 70.

DK009 Dead Black Arms -
Awake from the dead! Awake from the dark! SOLD OUT
3"CDr
A monolithic organ chord, rich of twisting overtones. This is how "Awake from dead! awake from dark!" begins by Dead Black Arms aka Claus Haxolm from Denmark. For almost 20 minutes the track is running trough layers of microtonal beats and subtle distortions that ends with the unavoidable overwhelming of the listener. A great piece of nordic drone/noise music who strangely have it's roots in the NY 60's minimalism.
Black mystical artwork by Merlo, DK009 will be release in a ltd. edition of 70.

DK008 ENT - Sonic Inducers SOLD OUT
3"CDr
New release by the italian electronic duo ENT, for their new fuck work Emanuele Bortoluzzi and Michele Scariot leave the avant/post-rock suggestions of the past CDs for a more psych/electronic investigation of collapsing rhythm, themes and structures. The sonic induction is operated with a drift of technicolor synthmania, fractured dancefloor pulsations and dylexic anthems. Sonic inducers is the first teaser from the ENT forthcoming full-length release.

Samuel Henry is the man behind "The hardest boning band in show business", and his contribution to the dokuro's catalogue is an amazing reiterative typhoon of distorted riffage, a monolithic wall of sound (compressed in 3"CDr) ready to crumble against your tympanic membrane.
All the riff source was taken from the Wooden Shjips 7" "Dance, California" masticated by the Plastic Boner Band and recorded last december in Chicago by Jason Camacho.

Emanuele Bortoluzzi rock his Omichord through pedal fx and laptop for an huge swaths of distorted crumbling electronic whir, underpinning gorgeous glistening high end melodies, super distorted swirls of sound rife with all manner of glitch and gritty texture, bursts of high end skree smeared into fuzzy indistinct electronic soundscapes. Green Mine Website |
DK001 nodolby - Axe magnitude/Altered beast SOLD OUT
7" (black or amethyst coloured vinyl)
Michele Scariot rides the constant saturation of his deskmix from the bleak moaning of downtuned strings to the yell of the 4tk-cassette-recorder all layered and interlaced with synth detonations, radio interferences and fuzzy echoes. Sonic blazes and drones abuse are the keywords for this new kind of noisy "just intonation". Artwork by Merlo. nodolby Discogs page |
